Benefits to your practice

I have worked with people facing life-altering illnesses for more than 25 years in private practice and hospitals, most recently as the family-systems consultant for the Palliative Care program at Kaiser Hospital in Walnut Creek, CA. I also have trained more than 2,500 clinicians in continuing education programs in this field.

As my understanding of the impact of life-altering, life-threatening and chronic illness has grown, I have created a unique program of support that addresses the practical, emotional and psychological needs of patients and their family systems.

Do you want to offer your patients more comprehensive care without adding office space, employees or financial commitments?

I primarily work by phone, enabling those challenged by illness, distance or other circumstances to participate in individual or group consultations. I also maintain offices in Puerto Vallarta Mexico and am available to see clients in the San Francisco Bay Area three times a year.

Would you like a better overall picture of your patients?

I can go deeper and gather a more complete understanding of the patients you are treating, including the nature of the family and support systems that are available to them. I will provide you with brief updates to enhance communication and mutual support.

Do you have patients who aren’t following your recommendations or treatment plan?

I can support your patients’ cooperation and compliance by helping them address negative beliefs, fears, concerns and practical circumstances.
